Hoyt has been getting back to full fitness in 2015 and testing himself by travelling the ITF circuit trying to gain ATP ranking points to move up the rankings after struggling with injuries. Ranked outside the ATP top 1500 at the end of 2014 Evan looks to be on the verge of the ATP top 500 with the 18 points he collected this week for winning the title. If he can continue to gain confidence and results on ITF circuit then the young Brit could start to enter ATP Challengers in 2016.
Hoyt has very little points to defend in the first half of 2016 and really could push on. Playing Challengers will allow him to earn some extra money ad bigger ranking points. Recently posting some training on social media Evan looks like he is giving his all to make it in the tennis world. As a junior Evan has a win over Thanasi Kokkinakis on grass which shows he is very capable. Experience is key and playing higher level players will only help him gain confidence and skill.
Good luck in 2016 and if you want to follow his progress then he is on twitter @HoytEvan and of course I will be tweeting about him @thetennistalker
