It's been a good week for 2 British players as Lloyd Glasspool and Luke Bambridge both win ITF titles in different parts of the world.
Lloyd who has just turned 22 has been having some very promising results on the ITF circuit in the last 6 months after his breakthrough in the Irish Open this summer. He defeated 5th seed Ortega-Olmedo of Spain to win the ITF Tunisia Futures title a week after his doubles partner and fellow Brit Evan Hoyt had also won in El Kantaoui. Glasspool is about to break into the ATP top 500 and with very little points to defend early in 2016 he could move to ATP Challenger level quite quickly.
Luke Bambridge was close to the ATP top 500 in 2014 but just missed out. He has had a lean year in 2015 but this weeks ITF Qatar Futures title will give him confidence of a bigger breakthrough. He is former top junior talent and has a solid serve as a weapon.
Both British players need to stay focused in 2016 and their goals should be to break into that ATP top 250 which I feel they are both capable of.
Good Luck boys
